  1. I feel having the Premium version of Verbally would help the students I work with who are both verbal and non-verbal learners. Verbally presents the opportunity for all of my students to have a voice and effectively communicate their wants and needs. It will also teach them many life skills such as typing and holding a conversation. In return those skills will help them transition into adulthood and be able to obtain jobs itching our community. All the functionalities of this app look amazing. I hope I'll get to use it with my children.

  2. My son Andrew is 7 1/2 yrs old and non-verbal, but trying all we can to encourage sounds and words. He does make different sounds for different wants and needs, we just need to turn that into a real communication. Having the Verbally version will help on so many levels with communication.
    Many thanks Janine

  3. My son Ryan - is 17 years old. He has limited expressive speech and we are working on him labeling his environment and learning to request his wants and needs. He needs assistance with expressing his emotions. I feel like having this full version would assist him in his daily living...we are shooting for full functional communication!! Thanks for the chance - sorry for the confusion on my part on where I entered!! I'm not completely savvy on the computer stuff myself...but, like Ryan...I am learning!! 4. This app would help a preschooler that I work with that is basically nonverbal. He can only imitate a very limited amount of one syllable words with approximations and only says 3 words with models or cues. This would be great for him and couple other kids I work with. Thanks!

    1. I meant to say he only says 3 words without models or cues. He is severe Apraxia.

  5. Word prediction helps so much. Love Verbally free .

  6. I have a dear friend who is fighting ALS and has already become difficult if not impossible to understand. I would LOVE, LOVE, LOVE to be able to give Ms Vicki this app. She has such a wonderful sense of humor and it's just one of the many things this horrible disease is taking from her

  7. I have the free version of Verbally and know the full version would be an excellent resource to have available for lending and showing to other parents during presentations. The in-app features like customization, history feature and ability to email are so important. Thank you for this opportunity!

  8. Hi! Thank you so much for this opportunity to win such a great app. I've heard good things from colleagues and SLPs and such. I haven't been able to try it out myself but if I were to win, I'd definitely use it in my classroom with my preschoolers with autism. All but one of my students is non-verbal so this app would definitely get a lot of us on our iPads & iPod touchs! Thank you again! Best wishes,
    Paula Ramsay

Right now, I am using the free version of Verbally with one my 8th grade student who has apraxia of speech. She is loving it! She did ask if we could change the voice, but we are not able to because it is on the Premium app. If we had the premium app, we could be able to change the voice, use the email feature and and customize the app more for this child. She is now able to answer questions in class and interact with her peers beyond gesturing.

Having the premium version of verbally would help me, as an individual with ASD have another way to communicate, another app to use, a choice between apps. Since while I am verbal, I find it easier to type, and that I expand more on ideas when I type.
